Altogether the industrial level has been only a small diatance below tho record high, And gross national product and national Income have achieved new all - time highs. The situation Is seen as one of those things that cannot be pinpointed. No one knows what the trading element is going to do. And the market is swayed back and forth by the collective opinion of all those who trade in it. So far this year the market graph has presented a aaw tooth appearance - a new high record for industrials on Jan. S - a 62.85 point decline to Jan. 20; a 14:30 rise to Feb. 2; a 23.50 point drop to Feb. 16; a 20.67 rise to Feb. 26; a 32.90 decline to March 8, the year's low; a 31.67 point rise to April 18; a 31.16 point decline to May 2; a 56.81 point rise to June 0, a 30.42 point drop to July 18 - Tuesday. Wall Street experts believe the market has about all the bad news it can conjure up behind it. The future, they assert, should be much better. Now is improving.
