CRASS FIRE CHECKED Albany - (VPD - Firemen finally checked a rye grass fire at the east edge of Al bany Wednesday afternoon after it burned up to the foundations of two homes and burned a patch nearly two miles along the Pacific free way. Big Families in Style at Conventions; Nixon, Rocky To Follow Kennedy Pattern Doctor's Body Found in Woods Dubuque, Iowa -flJPD- The body of a Dubuque physician was found In a thickly wooded area 10 miles east of here to day after an ex-convict charged with kidnaping him 10 days ago was arrested in Alabama. The body of Dr. Edward Roy Bartels, married and the father of three children, was found in a thicket on a farm about VA miles off U.S. 20, The body was found a few hours after FBI agents arrest ed Victor Harry Feguer, 25, St. Johns, Mich., at Birming ham, Ala. FBI agents said Feguer was arrested while try- ing to sell a car belonging to Bartels. A medical satchel contain ing doctor's instruments and medicine was found in the car, the FBI said. Kelson A. Rockefeller cannot match Kennedy in this de partment, but thoy are going to try. Nixon's Wife Along Nixon will have his photo genic red-haired wife Pat along when he pulls into town for the GOP convention Mon day morning. They are expected to be met by two excited daugh ters, Tricia, 14, and Julie, 12, who will be accompanied by Mrs. Hannah Milhous Nixon of Whlttier, Calif., the vice president's mother, This will be the Nixon girls' first political conven tion. They can't wait. They have spent the past few weeks at a summer camp in Cali fornia. Nixon aides said they are expected to arrive in Chi cago with their grandmother bunday evening or early Monday. Also In the Nixon entour age will be the vice presi dent's two brothers and their wives. They are Don Nixon of Whlttier and Lt. Ed Nixon, a Navy flier who is stationed at Pensacola, Fla. Several members of Mrs. Nixon's side of the family also will be sharing the limelight. Their names will be announc ed later. In vying for the family spotlight Rockefeller will give Nixon some keen com petition.
