It's funny how you get thai feeling sometimes but I had It once before. That was back In 1055 when I told Yogi Berra I could feel a homer coming and then hit one thai won for us, 6-5, in 14 Innings. I guess this could be my last Ail-Star game and it certain ly gave me a thrill to re member. This was my 10th game but 1 got the same bid thrill out of playing. Next to n World Scries, theros noth ing like the thrill of playing In an All-Star game. The moment I hit Gerry Stnley's pitch, a funny thought popped into my mind. Boy, I thought, my little old restaurnnt In St. Louis Is going to be jumping. Wood on Ball I knew that ball was gone because I got all the wood In Ihe bat on it. The only ques tion was whether it would stay fair. And I thought it had enough "lift" to slay up there in that third deck.
