From an esthetic standpoint, pollution downgrades the area, and will be more appar ent when the new freeway Is constructed through Mcdford. Real property values along Bear creek probably suffer be cause of the pollution prob lem, the committee added. Pollution also adversely af fects stcclhead spawning, and prevents a sound resident trout hatchery, the group noted. The pollution problem, the committee said, should be at tacked from law enforcement.
