Boy Bitten John Laden
Uniack, S, Sherman Oaks,

by a dog while playing near
his grandmother's residence
Wednesday, according to city
police. Police said the bite
tore the boy's shorts and
scratched his upper leg. The
owner of the dog was con
tacted, and he assured police
it would not happen again.

termed the largest shipment
of purebred sheep ever to
leave Salem, was on its way

auxiliary.

this small railroad community
28 miles southeast of Salem.
They want to burn it down.
Officials of Valley and Sl-
letz railroad said Metro-Gold-
wyn-Mayer wants to film "The
Great Hinkley Fire, which
actually occurred in Minneso
ta more than half a century
ago.
They said MGM indicated
it would buy the whole town
from the railroad. The film
company also wants to burn
on a mountain nearby .for a
forest fire scene, and plunge
a locomotive with several cars
off a trestle into an 80-foot
gorge.
