" 'Cause I feel like I'm going to the dogs," was the owl's quick reply The pair teamed up three weeks ago when the dog's owner, Bob Webb, 10, of Atiant, Ga., caught the baby owl. Since then the owl has plans of his own about leaving. Like the old saying goes, "Owl s fair in love and war." (UPI Tclepholo) Sixty County 4-H Club Members To Leave for School Sixty Jackson county 4-H'ers will leave Medford Saturday morning to attend the annual 4-H club summer school at Oregon State college in Corvallis, according to Glenn Klein, Jackson county 4-H club agent. Chosen on the basis of 4-H achievement and leadership, the 4-H'ers will represent Jackson county as they par ticipate with almost 2.000 4-H'ers from the rest of Ore gon in a week's study in home economics, agriculture and re lated sciences. The purpose of the school is to supplement regular 4-H project work. Club members will attend five days of class es and assemblies beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day and end ing at 4:20 p.m. In addition to subject matter classes, recreation, art, beginning and advanced swimming, gymnas tics, football, Softball, fblk dancing, band and chorus will be included In some class pro grams. Delegates will be housed In college dormitories, fraterni ties, sororities and cooperative houses. This gives 4-H'ers a chance to live with and learn from 4-H'crs from other sec lions of Oregon. Several special features are Included in the program in cluding a 4-H Sunday Service conducted by the club mem bers. Philip Krouse of Apple gate will give the closing message. Jackson county delegates will return Saturday, June 25.
