State Board
To Be Here
A state board meeting of
the Oregon Federation of Re
publican Women will be held
in Medford Monday, June 20,
for the first time in conjunc
tion with a monthly luncheon
meeting of the local group, ac
cording to Mrs. Frank Bash,
president of the Jackson
County unit of the Federation.
Present will be Mrs. Har
old S. Strawn, president, and
representatives from through
out the state who serve as
chairman.
The luncheon meeting will
be held at 12 noon at the Red
Cross building, 60 Hawthorne
avenue.
Plans were discussed for
the event at a recent meeting
of the local executive board
at the home of Mrs. Scott
Davis, third vice-president.
Names of other guests here
for the meeting will be an
nounced later, Mrs. Bash said.
Mrs. E. A. Littrell reported
on the tea held last month
at the home of Mrs. Stephen
G. Nye, state representative.
More than 150 women of the
valley attended the event.

Eagle Point Mrs. Loyd
Adamson has returned to her
home on East Linn road after
a trip north during which she
visited friends and relatives
in Kelso and LonTview,
Wash., and in Springfield,
Ore. Mrs. Adamson, a pianist
who prefers to teach young
children, plans to give sum
mer music lessons this year.

master of science degree in

The past year he taught in
the science department at

A midsummer wedding is
planned at Sacred Heart
Catholic church in Medford,
after which the couple will
return to Berkeley.
