Students who have never played a music instrument and are interested in begin ning courses are reminded to meet Tuesday, June 14 at a.m. for an informative ses sion in Hie hish school band room. BcKinners may register nt this time, iintl parents have been asked to attend. Also eligible for the sum mer music programs are band students in grades 4 through 1 1 during the recently-completed school year and orches tra students in grades 3 through 11. May Still Register Although registration with individual school principals has closed, students may still register on the first day of classes. Classes will meet from a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, and will be 45 min utes in length. Medawar found that if he Injected a newborn mouse with cells taken from the spleen of an adult mouse, he later could successfully graft an organ taken from the adult mouse into the previously im munized young mouse. Now, Dr. P. S. Russell, of the Massa chusetts General Hospital has confirmed this discovery. I think we should all feel happy about this "break-through" in to some success with a very important problem. As yet, there is nothing helpful in this for sick people much in need of a new kidney or thyroid gland.
