The bride wore a nylon lace

with fitted bodice and long

back. Her waist length veil

Mrs. Peacock wore an aqua'
marine brocade sheath with
matching chiffon overskirt.

and she had a pink orchid cor
sage. Mrs. Sevcik chose a
beige lace dress with match
ing accessories and a yellow
orchid corsage.
Mrs. Carl Beach, aunt of the
bride, and Mrs. Paul Andrews,
aunt of the bridegroom, cut
and served the wedding cake
at the reception held at the
church, Mrs. Harold Olsen,
aunt of the bridegroom, pre
sided at the punch bowl, and
Mrs. Brent Carter poured the

day which honored her sister,
Mrs. Almus Pruitt, and three
other valley women who leave
soon to spend six months
traveling in the British isles
and on the continent.
Mr. and Mrs. Pruitt, with
Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Allen Jr.,
and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Mil
ler, Medford, and Mr. and
Mrs. Angus Bowmer, Ash
land, made up the group.
Luncheon guests, in addi
tion to the four travelers,
were Mrs. Ted Hornecker and
Mrs. Frank Lewis, also sisters
of the hostess and Mrs. Pruitt,
Mrs. gichard D. Werner, Mrs.
V. H. Fluhrer and Mrs. J8hn
McCabe. Mrs. Fluhrer has
traveled aboard frequently in
recent years, and not long ago
rs. McCabe made a round-the-world
tour.
The Prititts leave June 8 to
travel by train and plane to
Washington, D.C., and New
York City. In New York they
will meet the Bowmers and
the tiro couples will tour the
Hev England states and a por
tion of Canada. Because Mr.

ed by the Old Vic company.
The Aliens and Millers are
sailing from Son Francisco

Ssaadinavian freighter, and
will join the other two
coupios in Germany. In that
country trre travelers will
take delivery of a Velkswagen
bus and will tour Europe as
a group.

women to visit the Veterans
Administration domiciliary at
Camp White.

Travelers Sail
On Greek Ship
Miss Jean Cardona, 224
Saginaw drive, left Tuesday
for San Francisco where she
met her cousin, Miss Sheila
O'Sullivan. The two young
women flew to Montreal, Can
ada en route to Cobb, Ireland.
In Montreal the girls sailed
abroad the Greek ship Arca
dia. They plan to tour Eng
land, Scotland, Wales and
Ireland and return to Med
ford about July 15, leaving
on Irish Airlines from Shan
non airport.

at the home of the bride's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max J.
Hawks, Rogue River drive,

formed the wedding service
before an arch of roses and
azaleas on the lawn of the
home. Approximately 123
guests attended the 7 o'clock
evening ceremony.
The bride wore a princess-
style gown of pink lace xiver
taffeta with white accessories
and a bouquet of pink rose
buds and white carnations.
Mr. Hawks gave his daugh
ter in marriage.
Miss Sandra Hawks, who
was maid of honor for her sis
ter, wore a goWn of light blue
dotted Swiss over taffeta. Her
bouquet was also of pink rose
buds and white carnations.
John G. Uerlings, Medford,
was best man and Max Hawks.

The bride was born in Cen
tral Point and attended Cen
tral Point and Eagle Point
schools. She was graduated
in 1955 from Eagle Point
High school and has been em
ployed at Fluhrer's bakery
the past five years.
