All Pythian Sisters, mem bers of Talisman Temple, are .invited to attend this meet ing after 8:30 p.m. The mem bers have been asked to call Mrs. Walden, SPrlng 2-5358, or Mrs. Harry Bryant, SPring , 2-4957 before the meeting. Mrs. Scott Hall and Mrs. Lewis Thompson, who had birthday! this month, were honored. At the last meeting held May 10 it was announced that the Herb club has been invited to show a Colonial Herb dis ply, which was shown at the Medford Garden club flower show, at the Talent Garden club flower show May 25. The event will be held at the Tal ent city hall. The display has also been requested for show ing at the Phoenix Garden club flower show June 5. Hostesses for the last meet ing were Mrs. William Perry and Mrs. Leo Thomas. Scrap books were arranged at the meeting held at the home of Mrs. John Hoist, Gold Hill. Following the meeting the group toured the herb garden at the Hoist residence. HHP OTHERSI The Salvation- Army SPriei 1-733$ ' Bridge Club Tournament Attracts Many Players Bridge tournaments contin-l ue to attract an increasing number of players in the Med ford area, and the last pairs championship tournament of Medford Duplicate Bridge club was the largest in the club's history. Play was In two Tuesday night sessions, with the second held May 17, at Girls Com munity club. Fourteen tables ot players were entered in the women's section, and the win ners were Mrs. Jack Mitchell and Mrs. Paul McDuffee, who scored 411Vi points for the two sessions. Eight tables of men's pairs participated in the tournament, with Ray Wise and Robert Dickey scoring 182 points to win that section. Other winners for the wom en's section were Mrs. Paul Hatton and Mrs. Al Gilhousen, second, 384 points; Mrs. A. W. Lingaas and Mrs. Jack Barr, third, 382; Mrs. Sam Stine baugh and Mrs. Lois Hoylman, Grants Pass, fourth, 378'2; Mrs. Dolph Phipps and Mrs. Marrs Gibbons tied with Mrs. Berg Marten and Mrs. Leland Clark for fifth and sixth, each pair scoring 370l,-i points. .
