P. f Jimmy) Duffy, a
top lightweight from 1910 to,
1918, died Sunday in Buffalo
Veterans Hospital. Duffy, 71,
had been a patient at the hos
pital for nine years. During
his boxing heyday he fought a
half dozen world champions,
including Benny Leonard,
Jack Britain, Freddie Welsh,
Ted Kid Lewis, Johnny Dun
dee and Rocky Kansas.
