The convention theme was "The Individual, His Needs, Potential ond Fulfillment Mrs, leon Price, who come from Dallas, Tex., to rep resent th National Congress, reminded her audience that this organization, with almost 12 million members in every port of the United States, is one of high esteem, renown ond influence. The two Medford women charged with general arrangements for the annual convention ' of the Oregon Congress of Parents and Teachers, held in Hedrick Junior High school lost week, arrived at the installation banquet Wednesday night relaxed and smiling the convention was almost over and everything had gone well. Mrs. Emerson Anderson (at left) had to do the last of her planning by way of the telephone and typewriter after being "grounded" with a broken ankle; Mrs. Owen Kunkel completed the work which required walking and driving the car. Among those attending were (left to right) Mr. James Bond, Portland, Mrs. Mabel Mock, formerly of Medford and now of Corvoiln, Herbert White, Pendleton, and Mrs. Wallace Van Hiss, Bend, Mrs. Mack, assistant director of the Federal Cooperative Extension service, participated in a symposium Tuesday afternoon.
