Proposed School Budget is Topic , Of PTA Meeting The 1960-61 budget for Medford public schools will be explained by Dr. Leonard B. Mayfield, superintendent of Medford Public schools, at the Hedrick Junior High School Parent - Teachers association meeting to be held Monday, April 11, at the school. Dr. Mayfield will be as sisted in his presentation of the budget by one of the mem bers of the school board. Vot ing on the budget by the pub lic is scheduled for May 2. Hedrick Junior High school classrooms will be open at 7:15 p.m. Each parent is in vited to meet with his child's teacher for individual confer ence. The program will begin at 8 p.m. in the Little Theatre room. David Irving will pre side over a business meeting. Officers for the coming year will be elected. Students from Ron Bart let's Instrumental groups will provide musical enter-' tainment. Folloying the budg et discussion, refreshments will be served. Medical Auxiliary Slates Meeting The April meeting of the auxiliary to the Jackson Coun ty Medical society will be held Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Rus sell Barnes, 2210 Hillcrest road. Dessert will be served by Mrs. Robert Turner and Mrs. Christian Hald of Ashland, and a foreign exchange stu dent at Southern Oregon Col lege will be guest speaker. Every physician's wife in Jackson County is invited to attend. Secret Dads To be Revealed Secret dads and daughters will make themselves known to each other at the next meeting of Bethel 55, Inter national Order of Job's Daugh ters, Tuesday, April 12. The regular meeting will be preceded by a potluck dinner at 5:45 p.m. at Pythian hall, North Grape and Fifth streets.
