invites the faithful children
of the Orthodox church all

Recreation Resources Review
commission will hold the first
in a series, of regional meet
ings in Portland, Ore., on
March 24. Representatives
frpm Oregon, Washington,
Montana and ,Idaho will at
tend. The meeting will review
progress of the commission in
studying the needs of the na
tion for outdoor recreation,
The states will be asked to
brief the commission on state
and regional problems. They
will also be asked to review
the commission's plans for its
inventory of state recreation
resources.
State contact officers, ap
pointed by their respective
governors, are Dan P. Allen,
Oregon; J. W. Emmert, Idaho;
Robert F. Cooney, Montana;
and George Prescott, Washing
ton. Other officials responsi
ble for state outdoor recrea
tion programs have been in
vited.
The recreation sub-committee
of the Columbia Basin
Inter - Agency committee,
headed by Marshall Dana, will
also attend the meeting. This
sub-committee has long been
concerned with the problems
of outdoor recreation in the
Northwest.
The Portland meeting is the
first in a series of regional
conferences which ORRRC
will hold throughout the coun
try. Later meetings will be
held in Minneapolis, Salt
Lake City, Oklahoma City, At
lanta and New York.

and to exercise temperance to

church in order to receive
Holy Communion, in God's
fear, love and faith. To toil
for good and kindness for the
sake of everyone. To become
the light in the world and the
salt of the earth. (Math. 5:13-14.)

12 pounds polysulphide per
acre, Cordy recommended
For D'Anjou, Cornice, Nelis
and Seckel varieties use 7
pounds Ziram or Ferbam per
acre. If mildew is a problem
on D'Anjous use 24 pounds
Kolofog per acre.
Add 6 pounds Parathion
per acre to the above mix
tures on all varieties, he sug
gested. However, do not allow
lime sulfur and Parathion to
stand after being mixed in the
tank, he warned.
Persons not wishing to use
Parathion may use Diazinon
instead, both Cordy and L. G.
Gentner, entomologist of the
Southern Oregon Branch Ex
periment station, recommend
ed. Both men do not recom
ment Malathion as a substi
tute for Parathion.

Damage to both vehicles
was moderate and no citations
were issued.
