-jMipSliiff Mr. and Mrs. Dace A, Mi4ex (Ceurlright photo) Catholic Church Scene ; Of Maddox- Wehrman Rite: Miss Mary Louise Wehrman became the bride of Dace A. Maddox in a nuptial mass Sat urday, - February " 20, in Sac red Heart Catholic church. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul G.- Wehr man, Golva, N.D., and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. . and Mrs. Rupert B. Maddox, Sterling Creek road, Jacksonville. The Rev. William McLeod celebrated the double-ring ceremony and mass at 10 o'clock in the morning. Tom and Tim Darland, cousins of the bride, were acolytes About 150 relatives and - friends attended. Mr. Wehrman escorted his daughter to the altar. Her full-length wedding gown was of Swedish lace with long sleeves and a sweetheart neck , line. The finger-tip length - veil was held by a crown of sequins and pearls. She car ried an heirloom lace hand kerchief loaned by Mrs. B. L. Hunter. The bride's bouquet was cascade of Swedish 1 a c a , white roses and ivy, centered with a corsage of white gar denias. Miss Virginia Wehrman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Ann Darland, cousin of the bride, and Miss Diana Maddox, sister of the bride groom. Miss Wehrman wore a ballerina-length gown of holly red-glow chiffon with lace - bolero. Her headdress was a small white crown and she carried a bouquet of variega ted red and white carnations. -The bridesmaids gowns were of holly red nylon chif fon with lace boleros. They also wore small white crowns, and carried bouquets of red and white variegated carna tions. . Linda Dupray, cousin of the bride, was flower girl and wore a dress of pink nylon chiffon with a miniature pink crown.. She carried a nosegay of pink rosebuds and net. Terrance Maddox was his brother's best man. Ushers were Raymond Maddox, bro ther of the bridegroom, and Raymond Wehrman, brother of the bride. Miss Antoinette Adams played the wedding 'music. Baskets of white stock and carnations d e c o rated ' the church. - . -7-'. The bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with' white accessories and a pink rose bud corsage. The bride groom's mother wore a grey knit dress with white acces sories and a corsage of red and white carnations. " " A reception was given by the bride's parents in the Pio neer room of the Jackson, ho tel. The guest book was.; at tended by Miss Dorothy Wehrman, sister of the bride. Coffee was poured by Mrs. Earl Brown and punch 'was served by Mrs. Clyde Smith. Mrs. H. C. Drew, aunt of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Leslie Corey, aunt of the bride, cut and served the cake. Mrs. Lewell Dupray had charge of the gift table. The newlyweds spent a few days on the Oregon coast and are now making their home in Klamath Falls, For traveling the. bride, wore "a beige sheath dress with dark brown accessories and a gar denia corsage. Mrs. Bostwick appointed Mrs. Orval Hayes as chair man of the banquet, which will be held at Kim's at 6 p.m. in honor of Mrs. Shearer. Mrs. Arnold Motschenboch er was -appointed chairman of the decorating committee for the banquet and for the meet ing, and Mrs. George Bryant, chairman of the refreshment committee. ' 4. . Mrs Harry Bryant, chair man of the law committee, read the revised by-laws of the temple. Mrs. Cochran, finance chair man, staged a cake walk. Mrs. Bostwick stated there would be practice of the offi cers and degree staff Tuesday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pythian hall. ' Refreshments were served by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Barne burg, Mrs. Polly Offutt and Mrs. Don Anderson. She attended St. Joseph's School . of practical nursing. The bridegroom was born in Medford and attended Jack sonville High school. He is now employed by a construc tion company in Klamath Falls. Pre-nuptial parties given for the bride included a shower given by the Licensed Practical Nurses association, a miscellaneous kitchen show er by Mrs." Jack Batzer and Mrs. L. W. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Plankenhorn Ceremony At Home Weds Pair - Miss Darleane Hunt, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hunt, Route 2, Box 223, be came ' the bride of Ronald Plankenhorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Plankenhorn, 810 Grant street, in a ceremony February 26. The Rev. J. M. McCraw of ' First Southern Baptist church officiated. The wedding was held at the Plankenhorn home at 8 o'clock in the evening. The double ring ceremony was at tended by 25 relatives and friends. Baskets of white stock and yellow daffodils decorated the living room for the event and flowers were arranged on the fireplace mantel. Prior, to the ceremony piano selections were played by Jeff Planken horn, brother of the bride groom. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an aquamarine blue nylon organ za frock and a corsage of white carnations and ' pink baby roses.. ' Miss Betty Kreischer at tended the bride.
