She is a member of a tour spon sored by Aloha Airlines, West Coast Airlines and Pan Amer ican Airways. Preview of All-Jet Service to Hawaii Scheduled in City A preview of the all-jet service from Pacific North west cities to Hawaii is sched uled in Medford Monday, March 7, when West Coast Airlines, Pan American Air ways and Aloha Airlines com bine to bring entertainment from the islands. The visit is Intended to call attention to Pan American's Hawaii jet service. The delegation will arrive at the Medford airport at 10:50 a.m. and will be met by representatives of Medford and Jackson county. A cere mony presenting a token of good-will from the Honolulu mayor to Mayor John Snider is scheduled at the airport. Theme for the day's activi ties here will be "Jet Hawaii '60," and will include enter tainment from the islands which will be featured at the Medford Chamber of Com merce roundtable luncheon tomorrow noon at the Jack son hotel. ' 'Afternoon Visit Following the morning schedule, the group plans to visit at least one of Medford's schools before leaving for Eu gene, where the group is scheduled to appear Tuesday. ; Included In the entertain ment will be Joan Kenaulani Gandall, Aloha Airlines stew ardess, an accomplished hula dancer and recently Hawaii's representative at the San Francisco Pan Pacific Festi val; Don Kualii, Aloha Air lines passenger service repre sentative and a musician; and Eileen Lota, Aloha Airlines sales representative, musician and dancer. v In addition to the represent atives from Aloha Airlines, officials of West Coast Air lines and Pan American will participate. These include: Pan American World Airways Ralph Johanson, district sales manager, Seattle, Wash.; Ken Kinder, chief chef for the air line; Richard Ernes, district sales manager, Portland; West Coast Airlines, Inc.-D o u g Billmeyer, director of public relations and advertising; George Moulton interline sales manager; L. W. (Rusty) Rostad, district sales mana ger, Portland. West Coast already has in augurated prop - jet service with its Fairchild F-27s and Aloha Airlines, headquar tered in Honolulu, initiated service with the Fairchilds along the island chain last spring. Late last fall, Pan American inaugurated jet service to the islands, connect ing with West Coast Airlines at Portland, Seattle and San Francisco. Eugene Men Tour Park, Shop Lots Four Eugene men were in Medford Friday to look at the city's Park and Shop pro gram in an effort to evaluate its effect and see if a similar plan would work in the down town area of Eugene. Don McNeil, manager of the Medford Chamber of Com merce, explained the program here and showed them vari ous parking lots which repre sent the only city-wide park ing program in Oregon: McNeil said the success of the program here has attract ed the attention of cities all over Oregon, especially Eu gene's, a city which has twice defeated city-w i d e parking proposals at the polls. The delegation which was here Friday, he said, was im pressed with the program and are hopeful that one similar to Medford's, which would be done on a private enterprise approach, can be adopted in Eugene. The Eugene group consist ed of the city engineer of the City of Eugene, the chairman of the Eugene Chamber of Commerce's parking commit tee, a member of the Eugene chamber's board of directors and a representative of the retail segment of Eugene.
