j Guess the AGE of
J this Volkswagen!
This VW Pick-up is nearly 3 years old, and has
worked hard for 32,000 miles. Yet it looks and
behaves like new.
All Volkswagens are built to stay young
and styled to look young, even after years of
workdays. This VW carries 7s of a ton with
sides up, as a pick-up. or with sides down, as
a flat-bed. It costs half as much to operate as
the usual fe-ton pick-up. And that you can
check any time. ,
Guess the COST of
this one!
This VW Panel Delivery costs only S2172. (The
VW Pick-up costs only $2142.) That's consider
ably under the price of usual panel deliveries
which fall far short of VW's 1830 pounds capa
city. And that's only part of what you save. Volks
wagen delivers twice the gas, oil and tire mile
age of the usual i-ton truck; unique Protec
tive Service Plan keeps maintenance costs down
low. Come in and get a free copy of "We'll Let

Smoking Habits
Said Unchanged
London - (CPD - The British
medical journal Lancet said
today that the intensive pub
licity about the alleged harm
ful effects of smoking has not
changed people's smoking
habits much.
Lancet based its conclusion
on a survey conducted in
Edinburgh, Scotland. It said
that despite a sweeping anti
smoking campaign in the city,
the proportion of non-smokers
did not increase, and the ratio
of heavy smokers to light
smokers remained unchanged.
