Feeding the Family By ZJOLA VINCENT Feed Editor Choit Burgers Where there are pizza-loving teen-agers spooking about, these ghost burgers are ready to take off on a ghostly gal lop for party honors. So easy to make! Make a pizza mixjture of ground beef, finely chopped onion, tomato paste, salt and oregano. Spread mixture on cut side of sandwich bun halves and brown in a hot oven for 12 minutes. Give "pizzas" a spirited look with eerie cheese faces made like this: Cut faces from slices of sharp process cheese, using a paring knife. Place a cheese face over browned meat and return to oven for a .minute or two. until cheese starts to soften. -Halibui Hawaiian Plentiful halibut, plentiful Hawaiian spirit, unite in this truly exceptional fish dish as we look for something special to celebrate "Fish 'n' Seafood Parade." Six servings and keep this recipe handy be cause eaters will ask for it. ' 2 halibut steaks, about 1 pound each, fresh or frozen 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup cooked rice 1 cup soft bread cubes 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 cup drained crushed pine apple . ' teaspoon curry powder A teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons butter or : other fat, melted 3 slices bacon," optional Thaw steaks, if frozen. Sprinkle with salt Combine next six ingredients. Place one steak in a well-greased , baking pan, 11x7x1 inch or bigger. Place rice mixture on one steak and cover with the other steak. Brush with but ter and lay slices of bacon on top. Bake in a moderate oven, 330 degrees, for 3(T to 40 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with ' a fork. Sausage - Appla Burgers. Serve thin sausage patties with rings of candied apples in hot hamburger buns for an unusual and very tempting sandwich.
