' The Medford police depart ' inent is host to a five-day iasic training school for po lice officers starting today, according to Chief Charles P. Champlin. :. Similar schools are being fceld in six other Oregon cities this fall to provide basic train ing for new law enforcement 'officers and those who wish to review their training. Officers from Jackson, jnsephine, Klamath and Lake gounties have been invited to e attend the school here, tCSiamplin said.
