last week end at the home of

buck hunting on the Bogus
mountain area but had no

Mrs. James Gill of Burbank,

Joan Gill, were treated for
cuts and bruises last week
after the car in which they
riding went out of control on
Highway 199 and struck a
tree at the north edge of Cave
Junction. '
State police blamed the ac
cident on slick pavement.
The Illinois Valley Rock
club met at the home of Mrs.
Alice Hogue in ,Kerby last
week with 16 members pres
ent. Mrs. Elsie Street, who
teaches at ' the James Boys
Home on the Holland rd., ask
ed each member to bring a
rock sample to start a new
collection for a Wilderville
boy who lost his collection
in the forest fire which de
stroyed his this summer.
Assisting the hostess, Alice
Hogue, was Mrs. Sam Burch.
They served sandwiches, pic
kles, ! olives,, ice cream and
cake, and coffee.
