Marriage Ceremony Held
At Girls Community Club
The wedding of Miss Gayle
Elaine Wheeler to Terry Les-
lie Stimmel was an event of
June 21. The bride is a daugh
ter of Mrs. Gertrude Wheeler,
3410 South Pacific highway,
and John Wheeler, Oakdale
drive.
The bridegroom, who is in
the United States navy, is a
of Mr. and Mrs. Merle
Stimmel, Davenport, Iowa. '
The Girls Community club
was scene for the ceremony
which was performed by the
Rev. George Roseberry, minis
ter of the First Methodist
church, at 8 o'clock in the
evening. Approximately 200
guests attended.
Mr. Wheeler gave his daugh
ter in marriage. She wore- a
gown of white taffeta with
lace trim and her flowers
were pink roses centered with
a white orchid.
Maid-of-honor was Miss Car
olyn Wheeler, sister of the
bride. Miss Norma Brainerd
and Mrs. Daryl Wheeler, sister-in-law
of the bride were
the other attendants. Miss
Wheeler wore a blue dress of
sheath design and the brides
maid and matron wore pink
frocks styled to match. They
carried bouquets of pink ros
es. Daryl Wheeler was best
man and Donald Young and
Dale Thompson were ushers.
Dianne Fellows, Yreka, Calif.,
the bride's cousin,' was flower
girl and Duane LaVia, Cen
tral Point, was ring-bearer.

the world wide Girl Scout
Roundup. The girls are Caro

father, the bride wore a waltz
length gown of hand clipped
Chantilly lace over nylon net
and taffeta. Her elbow length
veil was held in place by a
lace cap trimmed with se
quins and pearl hearts. She
carried white roses centered
with a white .orchid for her
bridal bouquet.
Miss Patricia Branch was
maid of honor for her sister.
She wore a yellow brocaded
taffeta dress with a wide
chiffon sash tied in a butter
fly bow at the back. The
Misses Fran Watson and
Mary Jones served as brides
maid. Their dresses were
styled as that of the honor
attendant, Miss Watson wear
ing pink and Miss Jones aqua
marine. They wore velvet
headbands holding short
veils and their flowers were

ist. She was accompanied on
the organ by Miss Ellen Kay

daisies, peonies and feverfew
decorated the altar. White
satin bows and pink flowers
marked the pew ends. The
