ontinued) COCONUT-APPLE STRIPS 30 MIN. to prepare: 2 caps sifted cake flour 1 teaspoon salt cap shortening 3 tablespoons undiluted evaporated milk 3 tablespoons water 4 caps sliced tart cooking apples (about 4 medium-size apples, pared) Vt cap sugar hi teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 egg, slightly beaten cup undiluted evaporated milk Vi cup sugar teaspoon salt - 2 caps flaked coconut 1.
