Don Marih was given a mess kit for selling the most tickets. One Bobcat, Larry Thomas, was welcomed into the pack, Kerry Miller and Mike Claf- lin were awarded their Web elo badges. Wolf badges were a'Ofcrded Sumnir Banta, Don ald Bailey n Phillip Brown, Sear badges vni te Ted Barker, John Duba and Alan Ronfbach. " Boys earning wolf arrows were Bill Bourdon, Donald Bailey, Lloyd Hood and Alan Rombach. Bear arrows to Greg Lubbers, Don Marsh, Ken Harris, Mike Burrell, Jim Watson, Don Stine, John Barklow and Larry Six. Den Chief cords were awarded to Dale Sauers, Danny Aldrich and Kenneth Shearin. One-year-pin was awarded to Den nis Black and two-year-pin to Bob Graham. Certificates of appreciation and thank you pins were giv en tb retiring Den Mothers, Mrs. Roy Miller and Mrs. James Watson. Pop, cookies and coffee were served the Cubs and parents. Grange News The Shady Cove Grange met in regular session Satur day in the music room of the Shady Cove school with Mast er Ed Houston -presiding. : The following committee chairmen reported: reception, new members; agriculture, care of raspberries; Garden club, thera will be a fall flower show; 4-Hr HEC, a 6:30 p.m. potluck supper June 9 at the Motsenbackers; roads, the county had oiled on Rogue River dr. from the Rene Weitman place to Long B&nch; school, classes over until fall; there will be one new teacher, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Ray Briggs is to teach in Eagle Point; insurance, some thing must be done about so many accidents.
