Peebler, 1871 Marsh lane, reported to city police Tuesday the theft of a pair of vise grips, an end wrench and a yellow handled screwdriver from the rear seat of a car parked at Bud's Texaco station, 529 East Main st. Floor Burns Fire burned a three by four-foot hole through the floor of White City Box company, according to Central Point rural firemen who were called about 7:30 o'clock this morning. They said the cause was not known. Five volunteers with two pumper trucks answered the alarm. ' r . Funeral services for Porter 3 Neff, 87, of 227 North Berkeley way, who died Mon day, will be held at Conger Morris funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. The Rev. George R. V. Bolster of St. Mark's Episcopal church will offici ate. Committal will be pri vate. Mr. Neff was born Sept. 13, 1871, in Bushnell, 111. He graduated from the University of Minnesota at the age of 20, and has been a practicing attorney since hen. He was married Oct. 17, 1895, to Isa bel Mealey, who died in Au gust. 1953. He had lived in Medford since 1908. Survivors include two . sis ters, Mrs. Gertrude Warriock and Mrs. Blanche Canode, both of Medford. A soh, John, preceded him in death. Friends who wish, in lieu of sending flowers, may make a donation to the Boy Scouts or to the Cancer Fund. Obituaries KENDRICK E. WATSON Funeral services for Kend- rick E. Watson, 52, of 512 North Holly St., who died Sun day,, will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.' in Conger-Morns Funeral home. The Rev. James W. Neely of the First Baptist church will officiate. Committal will be in Hill- crest Memorial park. Mr. Watson was born April 23, 1907, in Ashland, and mar ried Feb. 14. 1952, at Medford to Miss Patricia Crawford, who survives. He had spent his entire life in the Medford and Ashland area and had been a mailman for 25 years. He served in the Navy during World War II. Surviving, besides his wife, are five children, Venonna, Raymond, Andria, , Valerie, and Thomas, all at home; and an aunt arid uncle, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Losher, Portland. GEORGE (JIGGS) WEHMAN Fitneral services for George Henry (Jiggs) Wehman, 78, Lake hotel, who died in a local hospital Tuesday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thurs day at the graveside in Sis kiyou Mem orial park. Com mittal services will be in charge of the Crater Lake Aerie 2093, FOE. Chapel Mor tuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. Mr. Wehman, the son of F. C. and Emma Wagner Weh man, was Dorn in Burlington, la., on Dec 27, 1880. He camei to the Rogue valley in March, 1912, where he has been em ployed mainly as a saddler and leather worker. He has been a member of the Fra ternal Order of Eagles for more than 40 years. . Mr. Wehman was not mar ried. Survivors include one brother, .Arthur. Wehman; two sisters, Miss . Florence Wehman, Burlington, la., and Miss Laura Wehman, also of Burlington, who is here for the services; and a niece, Mrs. Martin Vikdal, of Burlington. Rain, hail and winds of tor nado force caused heavy prop erty damage in Fargo, NJ3., and Moorhead, Minn., Tues day night. Winds at Fargo measured up to 115 miles an hour and tornado funnels were spotted in the area." No injuries were reported but 10 airplanes were dam aged at the Fargo airport and countless -windows were smashed by hail.
