The two companies did have an agreement with Western Kraft pulp company in Albany to take shipments of fir chips over a six-week period. They have been noti fied now that the agreement will end April 15. "This is discouraging to us because we do not now have an opportunity to ship chips out of here; Ctuart V. Shipments Per Day Ross lumber company was shipping two carloads a day and Kogap one carload. Sixty per cent of the pro duction of both lumber com- ; panies is Douglas fir with the remaining 40 per cent white fir.
