Designer Rhonda Lee shows a variety of blouse sil houettes, such as the "Em pirette," which falls with a faint flair from a natural shoulder line and has bands and bows at the bosom. Other blouses have sissy ruffles and front buttons, shirtwaist tail oring, and collars ranging from tiny Peter Pan to wide, flat choir boy types. Bands are contoured to fit snugly just below the waist. It takes six steps to make a fur wrap, says Gloria Stone, president of a new fur salon. The customer describes what she wants, or the designer suggests a style. Then a can vas model is made to incor porate the ideas. The model is fitted and the fur is cut. Then the fur is fitted, and the lining is put in. A visit behind the scenes also shows the skins cut, tacked to the pattern, wa tered and stretched on a frame to dry before the final stitching. Milliner William J., always one to create his own fashion rules, this spring vetoes flow ers and veils for sculptured felt hats. In the daytime, he maintains, hats must cover the entire head, but for evening, the hair can show. "Let the hairdressers live," said the milliner. To prove his good faith, he dreamed up tiny hats of lace and organza which set off the coiffure as part of the decoration. St. Louis designers show sports pants from above the knee to midcalf. The briefest are short shorts, which look even shorter when worn with a loose pull-over. The longest shorts are "wading length," or just below the knee. Skim mer pants reach the calf. Home-Grown Corns NewYork UPD For feet's sake, some corn facts: A corn is a mass of dead, hardened skin, caused by con stant rubbing. It's nature's way of protecting against friction. As rubbing continues, skin thickens, building up layers from the bottom. This mass eventually presses against nerves and blood ves sels underneath. That is what hurts. The corn itself is not painful because it is "dead" skin. IT'S OUR 27TH IN MEDFORD!
