Jaiiyairy 18 thru January All who are identified with the Y.M.CA. here in Medford are Justly proud 'ef the increasingly important share the "Y" has in the life of this com munity. Youth and adults . . . entire families . . are taking part, more and mere, in the wholesome activities of this fast-growing Christian organ ization. Because those who belong actually act in the capacity of stock holders, they have a very real part in the planning of the "Y" program with, of course, the guidance of trained administrators and an elected board of directors comprising Medford citizens. It is truly in the democratic traditions, in fact the desires and needs of youngsters as well as grown-ups are carefully sought and considered so that the widely varied service ef the "Y" may be sure to appeal to everyone. Medford's Y.M.CA. is truly a community-wide organization, initially built and maintained through the years by the people of Medford and the Rogue River Valley. This week National Y.M.CA. Week it is our privilege to salute this fine organiza tion. It is our opportunity to show off the "Y" building and facilities at 522 West Sixth street in Medford, to explain the scope and usefulness ef the "Y" program, to learn how important and necessary the "Y's" influence is in the Christian life ef this community.
