permitted on the structures!
this week.
Three other bridges under
construction on the same route
are expected to be completed
early next month, according
to County Engineer Paul
Rynning.
The six new 12-foot con
crete structures replace Old
and worn wooden bridges
over irrigation canals.
Rynning also reported that
many of the department's 150
employees are taking their
regular vacations this winter.
The vacations are in line
with the department's policy
of encouraging winter leaves
so full crews will be on the
job during the heaviest work
ing months, Rynning said.
