Copley, who died Friday at Condon, Ore., were held this morning at Conger - Morris Funeral home, with The Rev. James W. Neely of the First Baptist church officiating. Committal was in Siskiyou Memorial park. Cindy Gene Copley was born Aug. 2, 1958, in Hepner, Ore. Survivors, besides her par ents, are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex O. Sweeney, Medford. and Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Copley, Eagle Point; great grandparents, Mrs. Annie Engle, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mr. W. D. Tickel, Norman, Okla. GUNDA HORNSETH Mrs. Gunda Ej Hornseth, 801 Marshall ave., died Sun day in a local hospital. Mrs. Hornseth was born March 3, 1888 in Norway. She was married on Jan. Commit tal will be in Klamath Falli Memorial park. ' GEORGE F. PICAUD George Florian Picaud, 51, of Jacksonville, died Sunday in a local hospital. v Mr. Picaud was born May 2, 1907, in Bronx, N. Y. He was on the New York police force for 20 years and retired seven years ago. He then moved to the Rogue valley making his home with his sister, Mrs. Henriette Le Piniec. He was a member of the New York Police Veterans association. Besides his sister he is sur vived by his mother, Mrs. Julie Picaud, New York. Services .will be held in Conger-Morris chapel Tues day, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Thornton S. Gapen of the Ap plegate church will officiate. Committal will be in the Jack sonville cemetery. Ex-Nurseryman Home Contractor Dies in Hospital James Arthur Phillips, 55, of 1597 South Peach St., died Sunday in a local hospital. Mr. Phillips operated the Phillips nursery for about 10 years in Medford and for the last few years was a building contractor. Mr. Phillips was born on June 29, 1903 in La Salle, Colo. On June 29, 1924 in Medford he was married to Mildred Huson who sur vives him. - Survivors besides his wife include three sons, Richard M. Phillips, Fred D. Phillips, and Jack C. Phillips, all of Medford; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Conrad, Central Point and Mrs. Barbara Clemans, Medford; five sisters, Mrs. Fern Milligan, Montague, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Cole, Al- t u r a s, Calif., Mrs. Edith Phelps, Redwood City, Calif., Mrs. Alene Dietrick, Horse Creek, Calif., and Mrs. Betty Sweringer, Iowa City, la.; six brothers, Ray Phillips, Tex., Loyd Phillips, Montague, Calif., John Phillips, Horse Creek, Calif., Donald Phillips, Redwood City, Calif., Mervin Phillips and Larry Phillips both of Sunnyvale, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
