Christmas Parties Slated
The calendar is filled this week with traditional Christ
mas parties planned by clubs, lodges and other organizations.
Members of some groups will exchange small gifts, while
others will prepare to distribute gifts to the less fortunate.
Medford Sojourners will
hold their Christmas party
Thursday, December 11, at
12:30 p.m. at the Girls Com
munity club. A gift exchange
will follow refreshments.
Women new to Medford
and vicinity in the past two
years are invited to attend.
A potluck luncheon and
gift exchange is to be held by
Roxy Garden club Wednes
day, December 10 at the Rob
ert Stokes home, route 3, box
86A, Foothills road. Members
are asked to bring table serv
ice. The meeting will begin at
10 a.m. with Mrs. C. C. Hoo
ver demonstrating tin craft.
Everyone is to take tin snips,
long nose pliers and a one
pound coffee can. Ideas on
Christmas decorations to be
made at home will be welcomed.

hold its annual Christmas
party- Thursday, December
11, at 7:30 p.m. at the home
of Dr. and Mrs. S. Ralph Dip
pel, 1 Eastwood drive. Host

Miss Ruth Kilbourn.
A display of dolls dressed

the ,Medford Lady Lions'
Christmas project will be fea
tured. Members are also to
bring donations of canned
foods to be turned over to the
Salvation Army for the
Christmas- baskets to be dis
tributed by that agency -to
needy families in Jackson
county.

mas party Wednesday, De
cember 10 at 8 pan. at Girls
Community club. .
All registered nurses are
invited. They are asked to
bring contributions for a
Christmas basket at this time.

dinner at the Eagles hall Mon
day, December 8, at 6:30 p.m.

sixth grade children. A dance
will follow for club members
and their husbands in the
evmnasium with music by
Mrs. Sherley Gay Christen-
sen and her five piece dance
band. The dance will be held
from 9 until 12 p.m.

Christmas stockings will be
given to all the pupils of West
Side school at the annual
Christmas program to be held
later in the month.
