R. C. Granquist, district di
rector of the Internal Revenue
service for Oregon has issued
a reminder of the $10,000 in
come limit for filing the sim
plified card form return.
He said a number of the
Form W-2 statements showing
the old limit of $5,000 were
given to employees who left
their place of employment
during the year. Fifty-three
million Forms W-2 were
printed before the decision
was made to expand the use
of Form 1040A to incomes up
to $10,000.
