I have tried breaking off with him several times, but find it impossible. I always go back to him, I feel that all this is so foolish. SP 2-2367 IF NO ANSWER CALL 0. R. "Ray" Jackson - SP 2-5171 W. R. "Bill" Holman - SP 2-9742 i CB&lirffiill i but it just doesn't seem to work. I only care for Ralph, Things have gotten to the ! point where I would be happy j if we had only a few months together as man and wife. Ralph G.-I s a b e 1 is still young enough to marry some one else and have a family. It would be crazy for us to do anything like that. I cannot get insurance and if we had a child, it would be disas trous. I love Isabel, but I would be happy to see her married to a man who can give her the security that I can't. I agree that it is crazy to go on this way. Isabel is throwing away the best years of her life. Up to this point I have al ways tried to pull Isabel back into our old relationship every time she has tried to break away. I realize that this is terrible and I am now ready to make a clean break. I As soon as I told her I wanted i to do that, she said she can't ' give me up and wont try. j The Council-Many couples I have been known to marry ' under the shadow that over i hangs Isabel and Ralph. The fact that these two have not done so indicates that there is a good strong pull against it on both their parts. Ralph undoubtedly has a serious moral problem. If he really loves he does not want to inflict the harshness of his fate upon her. In spite of that (he has been instrumental in causing her to "throw away the best years of her life." Isabel undoubtedly wants some happiness and fulfill ment in marriage. Yet her desire has not been strong enough to force the issue with Ralph or to forsake him and take up a life with another man. It appears to us that Ralph's physical ailment is just a small part of this problem. Both Ralph and Isabel also have a strong desire to evade marriage or they would not have picked the partner most likely to aid them in this re spect. Nobody can tell this couple what to do or which course would make them happiest. It is unlikely that they could be happy with any decision they make unless they make it with a full heart and mind. Marrying in doubt would be as bad as not marrying in doubt. It may help both of these individuals to get some psy chiatric help with their prob lems. (Copyright 1358, General Features Corp.) Accident Toll Said Higher Than Figures , New York-4UPD-An insurance association official maintains that "the accident toll on our streets and highways is shock ingly higher than the figures that are published." Thomas N. Boate, manager of the Accident Prevention Department of the Association of Casualty and Surety Com panies, said statistics being released by several national groups are completely inaccu rate. He pointed out that traffic accident injury estimates range from 1,400,000 by the National Safety Council to 4,500.000 by the U.S. Public Health Service. V "There is no way of telling how inaccurate these esti mates are," Boate said, "be cause records kept by states and cities throughout the country are known to be grossly incomplete." "Until accurate state and local records are kept and tabulated, nobody ' can do more than guess at the total number of traffic accidents, and these guesses invariably are. on the Very conservative side."
