Area Director Of Group Coming R. V. Purves, Vancouver, area director for the National Office Management associa tion, and on the staff of the British Columbia E 1 e ctric company, will be a guest at the Medford chapter of NO MA Monday, November 24, at the Medford hotel. -' The event will start with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. fol lowed at 7 p.m. by dinner. Kenneth Blair is in charge of the panel discussion on "My First Job." Panel mem bers will be two businessmen, Frank Bash, California Ore gon Power company, Joseph Moore, First National Bank of Oregon, Medford branch, and two students who will repre sents the business education department at Crater High school. Observes Third Birthday Shady Cove - International Order of Job's Daughters. Shady Cove bethel, observed its third birthday recently at a meeting and friendship night. Miss Suzi Chubb, hon ored queen, presided. During the evening guests and visiting offiicals were es corted and introduced. C. J. Gould presented the bethel with a mirror for the piano and John R. Pond, Knights of Templar, present ed Miss Chubb with a picture of the Easter services held by the Knights of Templar in which the bethel participated. The picture is to be signed by Miss Chubb and other honor ed queens of the valley beth els and then presented to Mrs. Edward Goodnough, Eugene, grand bethel guardian. Miss Linda Eccelston and Miss Eda Larson were pre sented proficiency certificat es. Serving the birthday cakes were Miss Susan Eastin, Miss Suzanne Rodgers, Miss Judy Taylor and Mrs. Frank Shep pard; the girls were assisted by their mothers.
