Hess of Medford was one of two in Oregon placing second as out standing electrician appren tices of the year, according to Stanley Adams, chairman of the Inside Electrical Trade Apprenticeship committee. Placing second with Hess was Robert Ensminger of Sa lem. First place winner was William R. Shird of Portland. Winners will be presented awards at a banquet in Port land Nov. 29 under the aus pices of the Oregon-Columbia chapter of National Electrical Contractors and the state asso ciation of electrical workers.
