Early Overseas Mailing Urged Washington -(UPfl- The Post Office today urged persons sending Christmas packages by air to military post offices overseas to get the mail under way no later than Dec. 10. Postmaster General Arthur E. Summerfield said the post office was faced with moving a larger volume of air parcel post than ever "before due chiefly to the raising of the maximum size and weight limitations. The maximum, weight limit on air parcel post to certain military post offices was raised from 2 pounds up to 50 pounds, and others up to 70 pounds. Summerfield said the mail ing deadlines between Dec. 1 and 10 should be "strictly ob served" or packages sent even earlier wherever feasible. Plans have been completed to assure delivery everywhere in time for Christmas, Summer field stated.
