red rays to and from the
earth's surface. Each of these
local stations will cover a

Man Gets Divorce;
Hearing Aid Wrecked
Newcastle, England - (CPD -Thomas
Jeans, 43, was grant
ed a divorce Thursday on
grounds of cruelty when he
testified his wife, Mary, 46,
wrecked his hearing aid so
he couldn't eavesdrop when
she was talking with friends
in the next room.

as he approached his 90th
birthday that he has given

Bulganin Said

kolai Bulganin, who was re
placed as premier last April,
is seriously ill and undergoing
medical treatment in Moscow,
reliable sources said today.
Nature of his illness was
net disclosed. The 63-year-old
Bulganin also was reported ill
last June and in 1955 when
he was unable to receive a
visiting Finnish delegation.
Premier Nikita Khrushchev
disclosed last summer Bulga
nin had undergone an opera
tion in a Moscow hospital.
Last week Khrushchev de
nounced Bulganin as a mem
ber of the Malenkov-Molotov
"anti-party group" which op
posed Khrushchev's economic
plans. This led observers to
conclude Bulganin had been
removed from his job in Stavropol.
4-H Club News
Rogu River Dairy Club
The Rogue River 4-H Dairy
club met at the home of the
leaders, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Par
sons, Nov. 15.
A program of work was
adopted for the coming year
with reports and demonstra
tions assigned to the club
members.
Goals to be accomplished
were discussed and adopted.
Each member is to bring a
food item for the Christmas
baskets to be prepared at the
next meeting. These will go
to some needy family in our
community. The December
meeting will be held at the
Carter farm on East Evans
Creek. .
Danny Riis was enrolled as
a new member.
