Club Plans Dinner
Shady Cove-Trail-A turkey
dinner will be served at Our
Lady of Fatima church hall
in Shady Cove Sunday, Nov
9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The
dinner will be Dut on bv the
members of Our Lady of Fa
tima club and proceeds will
be used for work on the hall
In connection with the din
ner, there will be several
booths including a fancy work
booth, fish pond for children,
and baked goods and candy
booth.
The HEC of the Shady Cove
Grange will meet on Tuesday,
Nov. 11, at the home of Mrs,
A. B. Clark of Big Butte
creek. Trail, for" a luncheon
and business meeting. Mrs
Reed McKay of Trail will be
co-hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Clark
and Mrs. Clark's sister, Mrs
Beatrice Browder, who is vis
iting the Clark's from San
Diego, have returned from a
trip to Washington, Boise,
Ida., and Portland.
Mrs. Dorothv Cooper of
Soap Lake, Wash., has been
a house guest of Mr. and Mrs
C. M. Wells of Shady Cove.
Mr. and Mrs. Lwrence San
derson of Trail are parents of
a girl born last week in
Medford hospital. The baby
weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces
and has been named Jacque-
lyn Sue. Maternal grandpar
ents are Mr. and Mrs. Nelson
Walls of El Monte, Calif., and
paternal grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. L. Sanderson of
Prospect.

of Shady Cove entertained at
their home Saturday with a
dinner party for the 31st wed
ding anniversary of Mr. and
Mrs. Bartuss. Guests were Mr.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stroth
er of Shady Cove were hosts
at their home Sunday for a
coffee hour and social period
for Mrs. Eve Nye, Republican
candidate for representative
from this district.
The Elk-Trail PTA will
hold a meeting and open
house Ad teachers' reception
at the Elk-Trail school to
night. At the close of the
meeting, Gary Monical will
present a musical program
with the band and chorus.
