Community church, Williams.
The speaker was Mrs. Wil
liam Berg, missionary from
the Philippine Islands. Mrs.
Lewis Collens reported on the
various missions in Japan. It
was- announced that the next
rally will be held at the Cave
Junction Community church
in April. ,'
Man Sentenced to Six
Months in County Jail
Kenneth Lloyd Larson, 31,
of 46 Bigham drive, Central
Point, was fined $5 costs and.
sentenced ' to six months in
the county jail by District
Court. Judge James M. Main
Wednesday afternoon on a.
charge of operating a vehicle
without an operator's license
in his possession.
Larson, who pleaded guilty
to the charge, had originally
given the Oregon state po
lice, who arrested him, the
name of Steve Al Stevson.
Judge Main also revoked
Larson's parole on which he
was placed several months
earlier.

Glenn Unger was released
from Rogue Valley hospital
Tuesday, Nov. 4, where he
had been confined since Oct.
31 following an accident. He
is reported to be some im
proved.

and Mrs. Harold Claus, and
Patty. She arrived at their
home Sunday.
Mrs. Natal Youree, mother
of Mrs. Fred Canterbury, was
Yonkers, N. Y.-(UPD-William
H. R. Langridge, 77, an indus
trial engineer who retired
from his own engineering con
cerns in New York and Chi
cago in 1938, died of a heart
attack shortly after leaving
a polling place here Tuesday,.
