Underground Test At Nevada Grounds Las Vegas - (UPD - Scientists prepared today for detonation of a nuclear device in a cham ber 415 feet underground at the atomic test site northwest of this gambling resort. The detonation, third full scale test in the Atomic En ergy commission's fall series, was scheduled for 2 p.m. (p.s.t.). It was designed by the University of California's Liv ermore laboratory. Rock and earth covering the chamber carved deep in the desert test area was ex pected to smother most of the radiation and practically all of the sun-hot heat generated by the blast. The device, called Tamal- pais, was designed as a snot in the sub-kiloton range, or less than 1,000 tons of TNT. It was "small" compared to other firings, such as the 1.7 kiloton underground detona tion of last year. Today, 58 million copies of the daily newspaper will be printed and sold in the U. S. Stops Constipation Due to "Aging Colon" New laxative discovery re-creafes 3 essentials for normal regularity. As you grow older, the internal mus cles of your colon wall also age, lose the strength that propels waste from the body. Stagnant bowel contents be come so dry and shrurken that they fail to stimulate the urge to purge. Relief, doctors say, lies in a new laxative principle. Old-style bulks and moisteners may create gas, take 3 or 4 days for relief. Old-style salts and drugs cramp and gripe the entire system. Of all laxatives, only new Colonaid gives you its special 3-way relief that works only on the lower colon (area of constipation). (1) Colonaid moisturizes dry, hardened waste for easy passage with out pain or strain. (2) Colonaid's unequalled rebulking action helps re tone flabby colon muscles. (3) And Colonaid acts gently, on the nerve reflexes that stimulate the vital "mass movement" of your lower colon. Colonaid relieves even chronic constipation overnight; is so gentle it was hospital proved safe even for women in critical stages of pregnancy. And Colonaid won't interfere with absorption of vitamins or other food nutrients. Get Colonaid, today! I I f I I I fS Id) O WISHING WELL !i -W-W Je- WW.
