Class Holds Reunion Members of Surprise Sun day School class held the 1958 reunion at the Medford hotel August 16. The class at tended -.he First Methodist church here about 35 years ago, and in recent years has held an annual reunion. The dining table floral ar rangement was of yellow dai sies and blue lobelia with yel low lacy place cards in keep ing with the class colors. Letters were read frnm Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gienger of Chiloquin, Ore., Mr. and Mrs. Howard Raymond, Patricks Creek, Calif., and a telephone call was received from Mr. and Mrs. Guy Humphreys, Talmage, Calif. After the dinner, the group gathered at the new home of Mr. and Mrs. George Russell on Sandy Terrace for an eve ning of reminiscing and view ing colored slides. Those at tending were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hukill and Mr. and Mrs. George Watson. Med ford; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hale, Eagle Point; Mrs. Mar- jorie Hopkins, R e d o n d o Beach, Calif Mrs. Olive Put man, Sutherline, Ore.; and tne teacher, Mrs. H. A. Cana day, Roseburg, Ore. Mrs. Canaday was the guest of the Russells, and Mrs. Putman and Mrs. Hopkins were the guests of the Watsons. The class attended the 11 o'clock service at First Meth odist church Sunday morning in a group. MAIL TRIBUNE, Medford, Oregon, Sunday, August J4, 1931 LTU m6 r Lodge To Hold Silent Auction Talisman lodge, Knights of Pythias, will hold a "silent auction" tomorrow night at 8 o'clock after its regular meet ing. Proceeds from the sale will go into the welfare and assistance fund. Lodge mem bers are asked to bring mate rials appropriate for auction, members of the committee said. The local lodge will be rep resented at Oregon's Pythian grand lodge convention in Eugene in October by Joe W. Fritsch. Jim ,0'Duane war named alternation represent ative. The lodge is also planning to hold several "showers" to collect furnishings for - the Don Lacy family home. The Lacys' home m Central Point and nearly everything in it was destroyed by a fire last bunday. Mr. Lacy is chancel lor commander of Talisman lodge. The Pythian sisters and oth er auxiliary groups are ex pected to join in these proj ects, according try Edward Bostwick, secretary of the lo cal lodge. Cousin Winner On TV Program Central Point Mrs. Nor man Kubli, Central Point, re ports that her cousin, v Miss Shirley Terry, New York City, has appeared two times as a contestant on the tele vision program "Name That Tune." Last Tuesday she won $1,000, Mrs. Kubli said. Miss Terry is scheduled to be on the program again Tues day, August 26. The program comes on at 5:30 p.m. over KBES-TV.
