The baby, the couple's first child, has been named Patricia Marie. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meyer of Trail and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Williams, Medford. -Plywood Price Boost Announced Portland (UPD A $4 boost in the prfce of one-quarter-inch AD index sanded fir ply wood was announced Monday by Georgia Pacific Plywood Company. The index raised from $72 to $76, officials said. Other grades of sanded ply wood were raised proportion ately in price. However, sheathing plywood remained the same price. The $76 price is a quotation for delivery of plywood after Sept. L officials said. o Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bulkin, Far Hills ranch, Shady Cove, entertained at their home on Sunday afternoon with a bar becue and buffet dinner hon oring the birthday of their daughter, Natasha Bulkin. The Shady Cove Trail vol unteer fire department were called to a brush fire on the River Road at 4:40 a.m. Sat urday. The firemen were un able to locate the fire. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindman and children, Jackie and Ralph, Vallejo, Calif., have been house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Neilson, Trail. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shoults of Thousand Oaks, Calif., have been house guests of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Spain of Shady Cove. Coyle, Antelope, who has been helping Dorothy will stay at the house to take care of the children. George Hughes, San An dras, Calif., was visiting with his sister and family, Mrs, just a few days before he suf fered a fatal heart attack. He had lived on' Elk Creek and in Medford. Funeral services were held Friday at Perl Fun eral home. TOO LATE TO CLASSIFY Mrs. Tex Burnett, Shady Cove, left with the Eldon Holmes family, Central Point, to attend the world assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses in New York. One of the men suffered a bad cut to his hand while at work Thursday and was taken into Medford to the doctor by Mrs. Ernie Segessenman. Bob Spriggs of Sacramento, Calif., was brought to Shady Cove by ambulance Thursday and is going to convalesce in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Buttram. Bob who lived last spring at the Rain bow Trailer court underwent surgery on his back at a local hospital. Mrs. O. L. Williams, Shady Cove was hostess at her home for a party honoring the birth day of Mrs. Bob Vincent, Shady Cove. Bridge was played during the evening with prizes being won by Mrs. Carl Hanson and Mrs. Arley Spain. Guests present were Mesdames Carl Hanson, Dolf Larson, Pat Hawks, Leonard Thompson, Arley Spain, Floyd Kelley, Carroll Watson, the honored guest, Mrs. Bob Vin cent and the hostess, Mrs. O. L.
