Public H-Bomb

Washington (UPD The
United States announced Sat
urday it has cancelled the
public H-bomb test exDlosion
that had been scheduled in
the Pacific this summer.
Foreign observers and re

the American press and broad

The demonstration was to
have been of a type of bomb
generating a drastically re

fallout.
The State Department said
the United States had "re
luctantly decided to cancel
the demonstration test ex

It gave this reason: Bad
weather threatened to delay
the test so long that scientists
could not attend it and also
be present at the Internation

Uses of Atomic Energy sched

Sept. 1.
State Department spokes
