O GRANDVIEW-LONE PINE Dairy Goat Club Formed By LILLIAN KNIGHT Gsandview Lone Pine A 4-H dairy goat club, called the Kaper Kids, was recently formed under the leadership of Mrs. Don Lindstrom by a number of Children in the community who had goats. . Mothers of the children at tend the meetings which are held at the various homes about every two weeks and take active parts in helping the children. The Young "capriculturists" are preparing their animals for ih&i-B. fair to be held at the fair grounds this fall . Two station wagons took the members on a tour the first ornast week to see the different animals of the mem bers. Adult leaders on this tour were Mrs. Don Lindstrom Mrs. Norman Jahn and Mrs. Howard Brooks of Central Point. There are at present 10 members in the club. O The goat dairy under the ownership of Mr. and Mrs. Don Lindstrom now has it's full operating license under the name of the Do-Leen Goat Dairy, located at 2793 Spring- brook rd. Mrs. Otto Hinsch and son, Lorin, left Monday of last week to return to their home in Los Angeles after visiting a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jah and family. The two fam ilies are friends of long standing. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Peters and daughter, Gayle, returned to their home in Mountain View, Calif., last Wednesday after visiting a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Scott Wicker shara and family. Mary Ann Owens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Owens, was hostess at a party given at the Owens home Saturday evening, June 14, for a group of her friends. Mrs. Owens, with Mary Ann and Margaret Childers assisting, served re freshments of punch and brownies. Guests present were Judy Van Gordon, Margaret Child ers, Dnna Boggs, Jewel Forbes!
