honor of Mrs. Young at which
two other former Medford
friends of both were present.

Mrs. Young returned to her

ding June 12 in Reno, Nevada.
Mrs. Bearden is the former
Agda Esther Spence, daugh
of Mrs. Viola Hamilton

tral point and the late Alvia
Joseph Spence. Mr. Bearden
is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy
E.Bearden, John Day, Ore.
The ceremony was held at
the home of a Baptist minister
in Reno at 3:30 o'clock in the
afternoon.
The bride is a graduate of
Crater Hjgh school. Mr. Bear
den attended Burns Union
High school in Burns, Ore.,
and University of Arizona,
Tuscon. He is employed by
the Southern Pacific company.

Miss McCorkle is a graduate
of Eagle Point High school
and. has completed her junior
year in business education at
Oregon State college. Mr.
Ready is a graduate of Oregon
State college, majoring in for
estry, and is employed by the
United States forest service at
McCloud, Calif.

bridesmaid. They wore lime
green nylon chiffon frocks
with white accents and car
ried white Dutch iris. Little
Shirley Hughes, Days Creek,
was flower girl for her aunt,
Candlelighters were Rhoda
Serry and Cheryl Stewart,
Terrel Samuels, Parma,
Idaho, served as best man
while Victor Maine, Wallace,
Idaho, brother of the bride
groom; Jerry Anderson, El
win Paulson, Gold Hill; and
Don Mathias, brother-in-law
of the bride, seated the guests.
Baskets of pink and white
gladiolus decorated the
church for the ceremony.
The reception, given by the
bride's parents, was also held
in the church. Mrs. W. J.
Warner headed the church
committee which took charge
of reception preparations and
serving. Miss Merridee Love
was in charge of the guest
book. ' "
The couple are making
their home t in Idaho Falls,
Idaho. For her traveling at
tire the bride wore a green
taffeta dress.
The bride attended North
west Nazarene college and is
a school teacher with the
Gold Hill school district. Mr.
Maine is a student at North
west Nazarene college and
will also be employed at Arco,
Idaho.
