lice today quizzed polite
speaking Joe William Grab-
her, 12-year-old redhead who
admitted stabbing his piano
teacher 19 times with an
eight-inch hunting knife
Wednesday while neighbors
watched, frozen with horror
She died almost instantly.
Prosecutor J. Frank Holt
said the youngster showed no
remorse.
"That's what has me wor
ried about him," Holt said. He
said he had not decided what
charge would be filed against
the adopted son of Mr. and
Mrs: Joe E. Grabher. He was
being held in the juvenile de
tention home.
The boy, described by fam
ily friends as "intelligent in
school," calmly told Holt he
"got excited" when his teach
er, Mrs. Kirk Killian, 64,
grabbed a rock he had been
playing with during his piano
lesson and struck him on the
head.
