The couple plans a fall wedding. Exercise Class To Begin at Y A women's exercise and slenderizing class will 'start at the YMCA Tuesday, Feb ruary 25. The class will be held Tuesday and Fridays at 10 a.m. and an evening class on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. There will be 12 sessions in the course. Along with the exercises will be swimming, badmin ton, volleyball, and trampo line. Body conditioning and slenderizing exercises will be included in the courses as well as lectures and discus sions on dieting and nutrition. The check was presented at a luncheon held Tuesday noon at the home of Mrs. Emerson Anderson on Hillcrest road Mrs. Anderson made the presentation to Mrs. T. R, Lytle, Medford, president of the Rogue Valley Area coun cil of Girl Scouts. This year's money was earned at a spring fashion show and the annual "doll project" at Christmas. Open house is planned at Camp Low Echo June 29, and Kiwanian Dames and their husbands are invited to attend. Another guest was Mrs. T. R. Eslinger, whose hus band is Girl Scout camping chairman. Mrs. Frank A. Benesh, pres ident of the group, introduced the guests. Christian 'Action Program Topic Christian Action on the March" is the title of the pro gram to be presented to the Women's Society of Christian Service on Tuesday, February 25, 1 p.m., in the First Meth odist church. Mrs. David Chirgwin, in charge of the program, has a symposium planned to present the Christian heritage of Methodist women. Mrs. John Kent, Mrs. W. Earl Keister, Mrs. Cleo Epps and Mrs. Chirgwin will participate. Mrs. L. B. Pierce will relate the heritage of social action to the problems women face today and will present the Christian social relations pro gram being carried on by the Woman's Society. Mrs. C. Gor don Morris will lead the de votions. The prayer circle will meet at 10:30 a.m. in Meeker cha pel, and the business session will convene at 11 a.m. in Schweitzer room. Circle 8, under the leadership of Mrs. Harry Meyers, will serve luncheon at 12:15 p.m. A nur sery will be provided for pre school children. Groups Observe Visitation Day National Veterans Hospital Visitation day was observed at Camp White February 16. The day was set aside by the Military Order of Cooties at which time they visited the wards, assisted by the Mili tary Order of Lady Bugs. The camp visitation was at tended by Richard Schultz, Medford, Ivan Lusk, Central Point, Neely Williams, Glen Massa, Al Young, all Grants Pass, and Frank Clayton, Camp White. Frank Glonning, special service officer at the camp, assisted during the day. Assisting the Lady Bugs were members of Gladiolus circle, Grants Pass. They in cluded Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Clara Martin, Mrs. Bessie Ald ridge, Mrs. Marie Bowling. From Roguette circle Mrs. Ivan Lusk, Mrs. Richard Schultz, Mrs. O. O. The president's wife will live in a cottage at the famed retreat . for women, which normally rent for between $400 and $700 a week. The place features exclu sivity and privacy, along with Eagle Point PTA Plans Program On Report Cards Eagle Point Eagle Point Elementary Parent - Teacher association will hold its Feb ruary meeting in the school cafeteria Tuesday, February 25, at 8 p.m. On the evening s program will be a panel discussion on report cards. Points of discus sion will be the pros and cons on written reports, conference type reports, and various forms of periodic reports home to parents from teach ers. Parents and teachers will be on the panel and opinions and discussions from . the membership will be called for. Founders' day will be com memorated and a short busi ness meeting will be held. Hostesses for the evening will be mothers of students in the third grade. Mrs. Harbison's 4-H Child Care club, "The Pacifiers," have voluntered child care as a service for past meetings, and will do so at this and fu ture meetings for the rest of the year.
