Four Men Rescued From Alaska Airplane Crash King Salmon, Ala. IIP) Wreckage of an Air Force L-20 plane was found Tuesday and the four men aboard were rescued. None had suffered serious injury. The wreckage was spotted by a search plane Tuesday morning. The crewmen were returned here by helicopter. The plane crashed Sunday into a mountain about 15 miles south of here. were guests over New Year's at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Simmons and family. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Mc- Clure and Bill went to Stock ton, Calif., to attend a family reunion at the home of Mc- Clure's sister, Mrs. Alma Wal lace. While in Stockton they visited their son, Ralph, who is attending college and will finish his first semester on Jan. 31, and return home for a few days before reporting for duty at Ft. Ord, Calif., on Feb. 9. Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Horn- buckle, Roseburg, were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brugger home.
