Try and Stop Me By BENNETT CERF JOSH LOGAN, of "Mr. Roberts," "Picnic" and "Sayonara" fame, has a passion for buying houses, although he's not always sure what he's going to do with them. He bought one old mansion up in Connecti cut recently on the spur of the moment, explaining air ily to his wife, Nedda, "I picked this one up for a song." "I know," she nod ded gently, "a $75,000 song." A burlesque "queen" boned tip on English history for months, then entered a, mam moth TV quiz contest and walked off with a. 564,000 check. 'This just proves," she pointed out, "that you can make much more grinding than you can bumping.' "What's become of that gorilla you told ui you were engaged ta last month ?" asked one chorus gal of another. "I've forgotten all about him," was the disdainful answer. "He was just a passin? fian-cy." O 195?. by Bennett Cert JMitributed by Kins ratur Syndicate.
