0 Tracts of Timber Scheduled For Big Harvesting Program Tracts totalling 191 million board feet have been listed for sale as part of the planned tim ber sale program for the Rogue River National forest for 1958, according to Forest Supervisor C. E. Brown today. Totals listed by individual ranger districts are: Applegate, 26.1 million board feet; Ashland 23.6 million board feet; Butte Falls 34.4 million board feet; Klamath 34.0 million board feet and Union Creek 72.9 million board feet. Below is the planned program in detail showing the major tracts or timber sale "chances" to be offered for sale. Under each tract is listed the volume of timber, approximate mileage of roail construrction or better ment required and the planned season for sale.
