Hollingsworth, with 26 points, and Dave D'Olivo, who canned 18, led the Raider scoring at tack. With the help of Norm Oliva the SOC front line mono polized the backboards by pull ing off 49 rebounds to 26 for the Lumberjacks. 'Jack Come Close Humboldt came within one point of taking the lead late in the third stanza by closing the gap to 34 to 33 on a tip by Don Robinson. Dave D'Olivo put the Raiders in front by five points by mark ing up two charity tosses and a cripple to make it 38 to 33. From here the Raiders would not be slowed down and steadily increased the lead to the final margin of 15 points, despite a full-court press by the Lumber jacks. Pinpoint accuracy at the foul line and a tight man-to-man de fense spelled the margin of vic tory for the SOC quint. They tallied on 30 of 38 tries from the free line, while the Lumber jacks shot 15 for 26 charity markers. Hollingsworth and Jim McAbee proved to be the differ ence for the Raiders at the foul line.
